Prof. Dr. Bülent Yılmaz – Hacettepe University: Head of the Department of Information Management

Prof. Dr. Bülent Yılmaz graduated from the Department of Librarianship, Faculty of Letters at Hacettepe University. He worked as a specialist at Gazi University Library. He got Master’s and PhD degrees at the Department of Information Management, Hacettepe University where he received the title of Assistant Professor in 1998, Associate Professor in 2000 and Professor in 2005. He conducted international projects and researches as part of National Agency and European Union. He visited various countries for the purpose of scientific events. He has organized Public Libraries Regional Seminars since 2006. He is a member of referee board of some academic journals. He was Vice President of Turkish Librarians’ Association, President of Turkish Librarians’ Association Intellectual Freedom Group, member of Turkish Librarians’ Association Professional Ethics Group, editor of Turkish Librarianship journal and assistant editor of Information World journal. He is still a lecturer and department head at the Department of Information Management, Hacettepe University. He teaches and continues his studies on the topics as communication, professional ethics, Anatolian civilizations, information society, information politics, public libraries, reading culture, digitization and organization of information.
Mr. Michael Nieweg-Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences

Mr. Michael Nieweg is currently working at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries, the bachelor of ICT program. The focus of his work is programme and curriculum development, development of flexible education, life long learning, implementation of blended learning, assessment and quality assurance issues. Earlier he worked at the General Staff of the University, Faculties of Education, Engineering, Health Care and Social Work.
As free lance educationalist he contributed to several educational institutions and organizations, both profit and non profit, delivering workshops, coaching, advise, debate, lectures, presentations and teacher training programs in the Netherlands and abroad.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hünkar Korkmaz - Hacettepe University: Associate Professor of Education
Hunkar KORKMAZ is an associate professor of education at Hacettepe University. She has taught curriculum development and evaluation, learning strategies, lifelong learning, material development and instructional technologies, teaching and learning process, and educational psychology for prospective teachers and undergraduate students since 1999. Her research interests include science education, curriculum and instruction. Dr. Korkmaz received graduate, doctoral and post graduate degrees from Hacettepe University and conducted post-doctoral studies at Texas Tech University, College of Education with Prof. Dr. Julie A. Thomas. Dr. Korkmaz has 30 years of experience in education. She has also worked as director of Lifelong Learning Center and head of department of Curriculum and Instruction between 2014-2016 at Hacettepe University. She has served on numerous boards and national committees dealing with education reforms including science books review commission, editing science books in terms of educational context, science curriculum development commission as a consultant and professional development of teachers. She has also taught in-service teachers teaching methods, material development and instructional technologies, alternative assessment, and curriculum literacy at the international (Italy and Germany), national via Ministry of National Education organizations including Lifelong Learning General Directorate, and The Scientific and Technological Research Council, and local levels via provincial education directors’, school principals’, and foundations’ organizations including Foundation of Mother and Child Education (ANACEV), Association of Contemporary Life Support (ÇYDD), Foundation of Vocational and Technical Education (TEGEV), Sabri Ulker Food Research Foundation (SUGAV).
