Mr. Prof. Dr. Atılgan, graduated from Ankara University, Department of Librarianship in 1981. He received his doctorate In 1992, associate professorship in 2002. In 2008 he became a professor from the same faculty. He was the head of the Turkish Librarians' Association (1996-2002), UNESCO Turkey National Commission for Libraries, Archives and Documentation Board Member (1997-2005) and Head of Ankara University Library Director (2001-2009). Prof. Dr. Atılgan helped to create the open archives and online publishing of Ankara University Library and also the establishment and development of Ankara Universities electronic library. He was also the editor of Turkish Librarianship Journals and is a member of the editorial board of Ankara University Journal. He has carried out numerous projects supported by The European Union, Undersecretariat of State Planning Organization (DPT) and Ankara University. He is also a Board Member for TUBA Open Course Equipment Consortium and is a faculty member of the Department of Information and Records Management.

Possess deep knowledge of the publishing sector and experience in collaborating with public and private institutions on all management and operational levels.
Before coming to Versita in October 2010 gained professional experience in dealing with the business processes B2B and B2C in the renewable energy sector in Poland, Germany and the USA.
Started my journey in the publishing business with De Gruyter Open (formerly Versita) 6 years ago. During this time contracted over 150 journals from various disciplines in the Open Access model. Have become a professional specialist in publishing of open access academic content. Now supervising sales teams in Western Europe, German and French speaking countries, as well as acquiring customers from Global markets.

During her time at IOP, she developed the business and its models in Europe for journals consortia, national licenses, digital archives and Open Access. Prior to joining IOP, among her previous positions, Frauke was Publisher Relations Manager at KNO in Stuttgart, Sales Representative of Editions du Seuil in Paris and Editorial Assistant for Sciences at Rowohlt Verlag, Reinbek.
Prof.Dr. Sencer YeralanProfessor Sencer Yeralan
Industrial Engineer / Professor at University of Florida & Yasar University

Mr. Sencer Yeralan, who has been continuing his scholarship at Yaşar University and the University of Florida, received his master's and doctoral degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida after graduating from Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University. He also completed minor degree in Anthropology during his doctorate. Mr. Yeralan has been working in various academic levels at, University of South Florida, Alanya HEP University, Çanakkale HATSYV University, Middle East Technical University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.

After fifteen years as a full-time member of the faculty of Industrial Engineering at the University of Missouri and as a tenured member at the University of Florida (UF), Sencer Yeralan left his position to pursue private interests in industrial automation and control. Since then, he holds a courtesy position at the University of Florida and maintains a presence at UF.

Dr. Yeralan currently serves as Professor at Yasar University in Izmir Turkey. His activities focus on developing the new doctoral program at Yasar University, and cultivating international and university-industry relations which will lead to the establishment of a think tank.
