What is EaZy Days?
Eazy Days is an annual event that we hold every fall in order to provide you with an overview of our partner publishers’ electronic resources and an update on the latest developments along with policies on electronic publishing in general.
This year we will hold the 5th EaZy Day in Hilton Hotel in Adana with the attendance of the regional libraries.
Universities invest in certain e- resources based on your library’s unique needs every year. Yet does their investment ever meet their expectations? Many end users, who are unaware of the vast amount of their library’s electronic resource inventory despite the library’s tireless efforts for interaction, turn to the most common search engines while conducting a research. How can we connect the library with the end-user? What are the actions that can be taken to increase the effectiveness of the resources invested in? What are the worldwide best practices that libraries and publishers have implemented to raise the user awareness and to manage their behavior? This year, we set our meeting’s theme as “Electronic Resources: Connect with the User!” in order to attend all these questions.
We are delighted to inform you that our publishers will present their resources and solutions that are essential for our sector and have been developed to contribute to the researchers and the academia, and that during our event we will also host a panel session dedicated to the theme.
